Envisioned by Andrew Mukamal (whose extensive styling work and deep research during the Barbie press tour laid the project’s foundations), this book becomes a compendium of fashion history and the rich dialogue between dolls, material culture, and couture. Margot Robbie and Mukamal reimagined Barbie’s most iconic looks, drawn from vintage archives and reinterpreted by designers from Giorgio Armani to Donatella Versace, into a cohesive fashion narrative shaped under Fabien Baron’s creative direction and graphic langauge and photographer by Craig McDean.
